Hardanger Christmas Ornament

I've made a number of ornaments from the GOS (Gift of Stitching) magazine. This is the only one for which I have a photograph of the finished item.

This design can be found in issue 23, December 2007.

Prairie Schooler Ornament

Hi there, thought to post about this little ornament I just finished. The design was highlighted in Issue 25 February 2008 and is one of four seasonal designs by the Prairie Schooler featured in that issue. I finished it as a padded ornament, and used chenille from the Victorian Motto shop instead of cording...much easier to use and neater to cut and finish at the bottom. Is any one else stitching anything from the magazine right now? I am going to start on the
Strawberry Pyn Pillow from Issue 44 September 2009 very soon.
Hope every one is having a lovely time stitching and is creating
amazing things!

Frosted Berlingot by Nancy Pederson

Frosted Berlingot
Nancy Pederson
Issue 59 December 2010
I was supposed to stitch a snowlady/gent for February's ornament in Themalicious but got permission to stitch a snowflake instead as I  hate stitching with white.  Liz, bless her, found this in blue which was brilliant.  I added a silver thread to the blue which really makes it sparkle!  Somehow this got into the 3D requitement for March as well so I am technically behind a month!

my biscornu

From the biscornu issue!  Stitched on 28 count pink linen with DMC floss.  And my first-ever finish of a TGOS project!

This was sent out to a friend as part of an exchange project, but I'm going to re-stitch it for myself because I love the finished piece so much!
