It Really Is The End....

Another very sad day when everything to do with TGOS is closed. This includes the newsletter, the Yahoo group, Facebook group, blog, shop and email addresses.

A small quote from Kirsten in one of the last newsletters

"It's been a very full, challenging and exciting seven years. The magazine has brought so many stitchers together from all over the world. Together we've stitched, drooled, chatted, praised, complained, shared and advised - we've created a wealth of memories that will never fade."
To keep in touch with Kirsten and see where her next stitching adventure will be, visit her at her new blog Two Sisters Stitching, you can contact her through her profile.

Thank you, Kirsten, and all the talented designers that you gathered together during the life of the magazine.

Autumn Pinkeep from Prairie Schooler

This is a small Pinkeep I made for an autumn exchange.
It's from issue 20 September 2007 and was designed by Pam Smith of Prairie Schooler.
The fabric at the back is the same I used for the backing.

Winter wishes

This is another small pillow I made for a Winter in July exchange.
I enjoyed stitching this piece even though there was quite a lot of stitching over one!
It's from issue 23 December 2007 and was designed by Belinda Karls-Nace of Blue Ribbon Designs.

This is a small pillow I made for an exchange. It's very cute and making the flip flops was fun.
It's from issue 31 and the designer is Helga Mandl.
